Doctors are a rare breed. They tend to be really intense in their 20's-30's because of their absolute bonkers. Drug abuse, manic episodes, chronic sleep deprivation etc. is pretty common.

First, you need to realize that just because you are a doctor, doesn't make you be able to attract "the most desirable women". Second, what is most desirable is different for everyone. While there are population averages for what people regard was desirable in a partner, and it probably follows a normal distribution for each trait, it's not surprising that you will find very untypical examples of couples or marriages. Thirdly, people are tradeoffs. Even doctors cannot pick women who max out every desirable trait and there probably aren't even women like that. There is a limited individual budget you get as a romantic partner and you can spend it on traits of your potential spouse, so to say. You need to make a choice and can't have everything. Also, some traits that are desirable automatically come with negative traits and if you want the desirable one, you just need to accept the undesirable one as well.

You can be assured, that everyone picks the best partner they can attract, following their own value system and weighting for the traits.

FYI I am going to med school after spending some time after college in tech, so I feel qualified to answer this question. Personally, I would heavily vet whoever I marry, no matter how I felt about her. Looks fade over time for everyone, and background and education can become very important in the longevity of the marriage.

men are romantically repulsed by sexual displays that are not targeted towards them, meaning public, thats what men on reddit or in the RP space mean when they say they dont like these women. what they are really saying is that they are romantically repulsed by them, but thats separate from sexual attraction.

the men you mentioned simply are two thirsty to push them away and because slutty women advertise, they are far more approachable because they give off signs or even initiate often in some way. the reason these are being dated is the combination of their sexual attractiveness and them making it easy to approach them. these men simply dont have the willpower to reject them and their romantic repulsion by their actions is not strong enough to overrwrite the attraction triggers of their behavior for sex. its the analogy of women dating bad boy types. these men know they are being played and mistreated, but they will find an excuse to still be with them because they are sexually attractive and triggering and make the process very easy. these men will also find a way to cry when they get mistreated, but wont assert themselves or change because of short term gratification.

these women come to the men, which is something good women for LTR would never do, so what normally takes lots of effort and dreaded rejection and initiative is made very easy by the women, and they generally are more sexually attractive because of their behavior and often looks aswell.

A lot of men, especially these days are weak and believe love will fix everything then end up miserable and divorced. I know personally one dude who married a promiscuous woman thinking they were in love she took over 5 million in the divorce.

Lastly a lot of these dude get lied to and get a sob story that they can’t do without. There are many other reasons, like sometimes the doctors etc are promiscuous and want someone like that (tate but happens).

the only thing i can say is that a succesful man can choose who to marry since he can give himself the luxury of a choice, i ll put the example of one of my Auntie's, who married the man she gave her first kiss to at the age of 22, a surgeon 10 years older than her, she is a software developer and i would say they both are the most succesful members of my family, because no only the have succesful careers, they re also really exemplary parents and a lovely couple and they like to go to church and so, so yeah.

Because sucessful men by which you mean monetary success and power doesn't necessarily change your entire psychological make up. If you have insecurities, having money and power won't fix them. Kayne West is successful and every woman he was married to/dated had a reputation.
