I would not call me blue pill (pill terminology is just dumb), but I’ve always said that. The problem with red pill is that they always make up shit or over estimate what is being said. For example, red pill usually claims Women are more attracted to misogynists. That is very different from putting up with misogyny if the guy is hot.

And when it comes to nice guys…well, women say they are not really nice. They are also misogynist in disguise. The nice guy would ask why women prefer douchebags and not him, if him is better, but he isn’t. He is just the same but less attractive. Also, many nice guys are totally easy to read and off putting in general, to the point that, even if they are handsome, they just simply don’t know how to actually talk to woman, and girls run away.

Nice guys aren’t such assholes, at least not obviously. But they actually are treating women in the same instrumental way — as mere tools for their pleasure. The nice guy hopes that, because he’s a shoulder to lean on for his object of desire, and because he does all sorts of nice things for her, that she’ll eventually be persuaded that she should have sex with him. But he doesn’t tell her that he’s into her. And he slowly starts to feel entitled to her love, because he’s sunk so much time and energy into doing nice things for her.

When he’s disappointed, he often explodes and says all the things, and worse, that the jock guy says in the locker room. But he says those things directly to her in an attempt to hurt her. Because he’s pretending to see her as a full person, but is actually viewing her like a pleasure dispenser that's broken. He thought he just needed to put in enough coins and he’d get his pleasure. And now he’s frustrated and yelling at the machine because it’s not dispensing.

The jock is fit and popular. He knows what he wants, and he tries to get it without deception. The nice guy is often not fit, and not popular. He knows what he wants, but he tries to get it by tricking the girls with a bait and switch. And he often has the same or worse views about women. He’s like a Trojan horse

This is very true, probably one of my main issues with the bluepill. I was involved in a lot of sports in high school + college and practically all of jock type dudes I was around would 100% be labelled as incels if they talked/acted the way they do irl on places like reddit or twitter, despite being the biggest slayers I know lmao. I think this is a case of “because of” being confused with “in spite of”.

In order to do well with many women a man has to be physical attractive first and foremost. To attract a lot of people one has to be attractive to a lot of people and that usually means they meet a basic standard of objective attractiveness.

To be attractive to one specific person it’s not always like that. But yes people are shallow in the aggregate.

Secondly being attracted to someone who looks good but happens to be a douche behind your back no less is not an indication that you like douche bags. It’s likely women deal with these men IN SPITE of their misogyny not because of it. Surely you know of men who are misogynistic and get no play, they reside in incel forums. Using football players as an example further supports this as such men tend to be tall, strong, athletic and popular. Those traits are attractive on their own so why you need “misogyny” on top of that to explain why women might sleep with such men is beyond me.

Lastly a misogynistic asshat is the type to sleep around given the opportunity, usually using nefarious or dishonest means to do so. A nice guy wouldn’t do that given the same opportunity. That’s kinda what it means to be nice, it means not taking advantage of opportunities for selfish gain. Ex, a nice rich man donates to charity vs spending all his money on materialistic goods for himself. A nice attractive man likely has a gf or wife to whom he is faithful he wouldn’t be sleeping around and trashing women. Surely you also know of attractive men with wives and gfs who are nice. A man isn’t nice if he doesn’t sleep around on account of not being able to attract women. And if he is only nice to women because he thinks that’s the only way to attract them he isn’t nice at all. As I said niceness usually involves some self sacrifice for the good of another it isn’t a selfish pursuit.

I think there is a big confounding Problem with "nice" and "bad" guys. Being physically attractive correlates with being "bad" because you can. Being physically unattractive correlates with being "nice" because only that way you gain empathy. It's really not about how you act but about what's behind - your attractiveness. I disagree. Some may be misogynistic, but there are other, more common reasons.

In my own personal case, I actually pedestalized women and thought meeting and dating women and ultimately having sex with women was literally my primary purpose for being alive. Now, one could argue that this sounds a lot like "objectifying" women and treating them like "sex objects" but that argument falls apart pretty fast with the "men as success objects" or "resource objects" counterclaim. But I digress.

I didn't hate women at all. I used to sleep with women, sometimes right away. If I felt chemistry and the sex was good, I would call her back and ask her out again. Buy dinners. Go on dates. Go to movies, or to the dog park. Go on day trips.

I was successful with women because I was open, non-threatening, quirky, funny, spontaneous, fit, had a decent car and clean place, dressed okay and was very well groomed. (Dental visits, cleanings, face wash, clear complexion, neat haircut...) I used to jog, ride bikes and lift weights regularly too. I am intelligent and well rounded and can usually participate in a conversation about practically anything. Medicine, history, science and technology (my field), politics you name it. Where I stumble into topics that are not my area, I ask leading questions and make inferences. I can talk to someone about their job for an hour knowing nothing about what they do going in. I'm actually quite good at this.

Socially, I had a few friends but was very confident (perhaps overconfident) with women and found it naturally easy to banter with women and have fun and flirty conversations.

According to feminsts, every living man is a misogynist anyways. There is no bar or criterion. These are people who say PIV (penis in vagina) sex is all rape. They're lunatics.

Men and women get slightly different things from one another in transactional relationships.

Lots of men are successful with women, and I think very FEW of them are misogynstics.

In fact, if you want a disproportionally misogynistic group, look no further than the men who have LITTLE success with women and blame THEM for this instead of looking inward or just in the goddamned mirror.

I don't know why people act like it's news that good looking people get away with more than less attractive people. There are studies on this. It's a fact. In some ways everybody is guilty of it. It's not even just a sexual thing. If a stranger steps on your heel at the grocery store, your reaction may well be different if they're attractive versus unattractive.

If you're an asshole and not attractive, yes it will be harder to get laid than if you're an asshole but attractive. This isn't a woman thing. It's a human thing. Guys are guilty just as much.

I've spent lots of time among men in both groups (guys who get laid and guys who don't), and I'm not sure I could make a judgment, which is "more misogynistic."

In each group, there is usually a range of attitudes towards women. Some are misogynists, most are not.

The misogyny looks a little different, but I don't know if there's much of a correlation overall.

Actually, re-reading this, I can't say I've ever heard actually heard anything close to that bad said, and I was super involved in greek life and state school bar culture which is supposedly peak doucheness. If some guy actually bragged about how he got off to humiliating some girl just because she was kind of unattractive (if she mistreated him somehow, different story( people would be weirded out not because its "misogynistic" but because its psychopathic.

Another thing I'd offer is that the reason you think misogyny isn't an obstacle to getting laid while women report rejecting misogynists all the time is that sexually successful misogynists are socially aware enough to hide or lie about their beliefs. Its the sexually unsuccessful men who are unattuned enough to go on rants about "bitches this, bitches that..." on a first date who get rejected.

There's a systematic bias in human perception where we overestimate how difficult lying is and underestimate how hard it is to catch liars. (Very well documented)

I think what some people forget here is that some women just... like casual sex.

Fewer women are into casual sex than men, absolutely, for a variety of reasons (pregnancy/STD risk, sexual violence/violence/not orgasming, lower libido, etc).

But still, there's an idea here (and more broadly with men who don't understand female sexuality), that if a woman agrees/is eager to have sex with a man, then he essentially has her if he wants commitment, and that the misogynist has her on a string.

I know women who have had ONS/FWB with men who they know are arseholes, generally, and sexist/offensive etc, but the women, in the moment wanted a ONS/FWB, and the man was there and handsome enough, so she took It.

It's not that "nice guys" are rejected because they're misogynist. They're rejected for being meek or ugly or boring. It's that Nice Guy Syndrome is misogynist. They complain they aren't getting the girl because they're nice. That objectifies the woman and take her agency and consent out of the equation. "I deserve her more than the guy she chose because I treated her like a friend" is a creepy way to see it. Nobody deserves the girl unless she thinks they do. It doesn't matter if her reasons are shallow.

Yes, players are douchey too. That's not the same as promiscuous though. A lot of man whores are good lovers and good friends at the same time.

Nice guys have that same side to them but unintegrated, which makes it clunky and dangerous, like swinging a sword without having had training, not literally of course.

Men who have been dating are going to be able to bridge certain gaps that put women at ease, that's also why women are often disgusted by virgins interacting with them, virgins have no control over those impulses that women awaken in them, they can't express them in ways that drive attraction yet and so they turn women off.

A good example of that is arm hovering or looking away when they want to be looked at, it makes them feel as undesirable as if there's something wrong with them but the opposite is staring which is also creep behavior. It shows you have no control over yourself and sometimes it could develop into pressure that eventually blows up, some women might have experienced that already when a niceguy asks them out and then they get angry if rejected, they need this girl and can't control their own behavior.

Misogyny is after really toxic relationships and not being able to really process or vent all of their frustration therein, I don't women care as long as they're being treated well, women have a toxic side to them too sometimes worse than what men do, I've seen women joke about cutting penises up in the mixer or stuff like that, having incredibly sadistic moments towards men including supporting their destruction which is worse than calling someone a dumb bitch imo, the large majority of us don't have women to dying or being maimed cross our minds at all

Misogyny is thrown around too much. Men today can't ever be enough. The nice guys get shit on for the bad boys and the manly men aren't in touch with their emotions. But, any sign of emotion will turn her off. Honestly, women today set themselves up for failure. They're so hyper focused on what they want and forget about the relationship as a whole. They want a build a bear when that's not how it works.
