The "asking for a paternity is an accusation of cheating" is such a ridiculous and self centered view that I honestly couldn't believe this is a real issue.

  1. Women here seem to think that asking for a test = you think she's 100% cheating, that's just false and borderline delusional. Asking for a test does not automatically mean you think or suspect that your partner is cheating. It actually makes no sense to automatically make this assumption because there are different levels of suspicion. Does it mean that you're 50% suspicious that your partner is cheating? Or 70% suspicious? 1%? 0.001%? I would get offended if someone thinks there's a 50% chance that I cheated, or even a 5% chance, sure. However, this percentage is not determined by simply wanting a test. And I will go into the fact that the level of suspicion is actually incredibly small.

  2. You can trust your partner 100% and it would still be smart to get a test. And again, not an accusation of cheating since you trust them. If you married a woman, then most likely you already think highly of their character and trust them, so cheating is not your mind. However, the chance of the child not being yours is NOT 0. If the chance is ZERO, then that would imply that it NEVER happens, and we know that it's not true, scenarios like that happen all the time, making it a NON-ZERO chance of happening. And thus, everyone should get a test to make it a ZERO percent chance, even if in reality the chance of the child not being yours is probably 0.01%. Women have the privilege of this having a zero percent chance of happening, so obviously they would not have an issue, however, they fail to consider it from their husband's point of view, or care enough to.

Putting it this way: if I asked you to choose a candy from a pool 10,000 candies, but one of them is poisoned and you will die, but before you eat your candy you can test it to see if it's poisoned, would you test it? On one hand, the chance of you dying is incredibly small, 1/10000, or 0.01%, so even if you don't, you'll be fine. Why would you not test it?

  1. The "asking for a test is accusation of cheating" is insanely self centered. Men want paternity tests because they are afraid of raising somebody else's kid, which is something that happens and is a rational fear. It's not to prove that their partner is cheating. This has nothing to do with the woman, it doesn't matter who the woman is, it could be Marilyn Monroe or whoever, men do NOT want to raise someone else's child thinking it's theirs. However, women make this about THEM: "how dare YOU accuse ME of cheating?", "Tell ME you want a test so I can leave!", etc. Being this self centered is a huge red flag in a partner.

  2. Women are so hung up on the act and timing of asking for a test. Like should it be asked before/after pregnancy, many even say to ask before so "they could leave". While I agree there are better times than others, like imagine your wife tells you she's pregnant and your reaction is "yeah imma need a paternity test", that's just shitty timing. However women are hyper focused on these details, missing the point of paternity tests on the bigger picture and what it means to their man, again incredibly self centered views.

  3. Lastly, women often propose to go on first dates in public to ensure that they are not in danger of getting assualted/SA'ed. If a woman believes that asking for a paternity test is an accusation of cheating, then the same women should never propose to a man a date in public considering it is incredibly rude to accused someone of being a sex offender/rapist.
