There is no need for women to do those things either, which should be a good thing. Men here are always saying that they don't want a woman to settle for them, but if a woman felt she needed a relationship/child and couldn't find a man she wanted she would have to settle for someone. Many women used to settle for men they didn't love because he was a good provider. Now fewer women do that because they can provide for themselves, and men complain about that too. I don't really understand what these men want.

Either you get independent women that are with you because they actually want to be and not because they feel they have to be, or you risk getting women who are reliant on men and settle for what they can get regardless of if they really like the guy or not. Of course this had to be a post blaming women for making relationships worse. I feel like a lot of these "pills" guys are taking, just tell them to resent women for being human beings with needs, desires and agency who won't magically fall in love with them for simply existing.

The fact that dudes claim that they have no standards for women other than "don't be too fat", then turn around accusing women of having their standards too high because they even try to consider practical aspects like finances, makes it seem like they have no standards or desire for a relationship because all they care about is sex.

Men actually benefit from marriage in a lot of ways that women don't. Married men literally live longer and make more money on average, compared to men who haven't been married.

At the end of the day, if you don't want to get married or be in relationships, you shouldn't. Not only are you less likely to make a good partner with this attitude, but you'd be forcing yourself to do something that you think is useless.

Men who don't want relationships, kids, or marriage should definitely avoid all three of these things and be honest about it.

Women's sex drives ebb and flow throughout their lives and many factors influence a woman's sex drive. Men nowadays expect a porn star performance from women and they resent women for having what they like to call 'duty sex'. They expect women to be orgasmic and raring to go all the time when there are often long periods of time in women's lives where they don't feel that way. A man who is emotionally responsive and doesn't put pressure on his wife to reach orgasm every time they have sex is more likely to have regular sex when his wife's libido is low. Making marital sex about emotional connection instead of raw passion and sexual desire keeps things alive in my experience. If my husband wanted me to be on top of him, to give him an energetic blow job, wanted to give me oral, wanted to frequently change positions, wanted me to be vocal, wanted me to reach orgasm every time and act like sex with him is the most HOT exciting thing in the world we would almost never have sex. I'm not up for that after looking after small children and doing chores and running errands all day, I feel self conscious about certain things, I'm tired, I have little time to relax. I want sex with him because there is absolutely no pressure on me to perform for his ego. I want sex with him because it's about connecting with him on a very intimate level.

Now I'm not saying that men shouldn't care about a woman's pleasure, quite the opposite. If a woman tells you her goal is to reach orgasm then she's telling you what she wants. However it could also be performance pressure. Don't make sex about your ego. If you want my personal opinion, the obsession with female orgasm isn't about women and their pleasure, it's about male ego. If society was focused on what women wanted then men wouldn't sulk in a corner when their wife didn't at least fake it, they would talk to their wife/partner and find out whether or not their goal was to achieve orgasm and they would do what it took to get there or they would accept the fact that their partner just wants sex to connect on an intimate level and not be butthurt about it.

Marriage, at least in the U.S., is clearly biased against men overall. I think a string desire to have kids is the major reason for men to accept this bias. Since I’m at a point, I don’t want to have kids in the future, I see no reason to marry, preferring to simply date and not marry. This makes it easier to walk away from a relationship when it goes bad without paying a huge financial penalty.

There are many ways to find fulfillment without marrying, but I think that’s something every individual has to figure out for themselves.

I don't understand this take. Being single and lonely and having to constantly find new sex partners is not a recipe for a good life unless you are so rich you never have to worry about company.
