Those are the deal breakers. That, and simply "smelling wrong." Not bad or anything, but just, some people smell wrong to you. I think it's a body chemistry thing.

That said, there are a lot of other deal breakers. They're just not physical.

And "no deal breakers" doesn't mean a deal is sealed. Just that you're not out yet. What you need are deal makers.

TBH, my biggest thing is weight. My taste has some wiggle room and allowances can be made depending on other variables like personality traits/ overall physical traits, but I am just not at all into overweight guys. A little pudge is okay, and I’m not into super muscular guys, but I really prefer lean men. I think it’s kind of funny when guys’ main advice to women to attract men is “don’t be fat”, but then they’re mystified about what attracts women. It’s the same. Most women I know aren’t a fan of overweight, but I definitely know women who like teddy bears or the husky country boy types. Hair is another deal breaker. I know this one is harsh because a lot of guys can’t help that they lose their hair, but hair is a big part of what attracts me. I have never liked crew cuts or other short haircuts, and I can’t think of a time that I’ve ever been sexually attracted to a bald guy. It’s one of those things like weight that could be overridden if he had desirable personality traits/ other really nice physical traits, but less so than weight. Other than these, he just needs to know basic hygiene and not taste bad when I kiss him. I kind of find the nerdy types who lack fashion sense to be quite endearing, especially if they can clean up and look snazzy when it counts. Also, tattoos are okay but no piercings. For some reason, dudes with earrings are a huge turn off.

For the body - Not muscular enough, skinny or overweight. I don’t mind the roided look, tattoos or piercings. It’s actually pretty hot but tattoos and piercings should only accentuate a person’s physique and beauty. Having those things don’t automatically make a person attractive.

For the face - No bad teeth and in the case of it, it can be fixed so it’s no serious issue. It’s more things that unfortunately cannot be seriously changed like a weak chin. Asymmetric face. (Men can compensate for these factors with other things like a muscular physique, disciplined ambitious character etc. so it’s no deal breaker)

Acne can be fixed. Smells can be fixed with good hygiene and routine. Fashion, facial hair, body hair all can be fixed. Therefore no real issues with it. Height is no issue for me. In the case of things that a person has control over (fashion, style, physique, hygiene, hair cuts and hair styles, facial hair and body hair, acne, bad teeth) most men can look insanely put together if they focus hard on that. For me though personally, the serious deal breaker is a shit body because I feel that is something that can genuinely be controlled.

And lastly, if I meet the love of my life who internally suits me and has all the qualities I genuinely love and adore- then it is easy for me to overlook any physical concerns. Just like I know I’m short and some men prefer taller girls. In that case I hope they can overlook my physical quality that I can’t change, as deep down I am internally what they have always desired and who they want to be devoted to.

Deal Breakers

Wide nose (I don’t mind big noses but not into the wide variety)

Huge ears-I have bigger ears so don’t want my kids to suffer. Somewhat big ears are ok.

Round, smallish eyes (I like men with bigger eyes or eyes that are almond shaped if they happen to be small)

And yes, I’m not really into fat men unless they’re tall.

Feminine body shape-I’ve seen it before where a man has bigger hips. It makes me sad for the guy and I would never be cruel or mean to a guy like this but I don’t find this attractive.

I’ve always liked tall men but I’ve also been attracted to short men so I can’t say it’s a deal breaker if they’re short since I’m short too.

Also, smell is important, I’ve seen guys that are clean and objectively attractive but for some reason their smell is off to me. I think it’s my immune system telling me they’re not a good genetic match.

Natural smell is incredibly important to me.

Man boobs and like love handles. Guys will swear up and down that they’re not fat, but if you got fat spilling over your jeans as a dude, you might be chubby. Same thing with like man boobs. Hairiness- it’s normal to have some hair but I’m talking about hair on your back or like hair on your chest. The worst is like a hairy butt. Get that stuff waxed. The biggest offender though is just bad style. There is no greater turn off than ill fitting and tacky clothes. You can’t buy taste and poor taste makes me feel major second hand embarrassment. Nothing can make socks with crocks sexy or like cargo shorts with a freebie t-shirt.

Yes, because non-physical deal breakers are still deal breakers. "Well-groomed" is one of my standards... but so is "doesn't want kids." I'm not dating a guy who doesn't have both.

But to answer your question, the easiest way to sum it up is that I wouldn't date a guy whose physical appearance makes me wonder if he is somehow unhealthy. Beyond that, I'd need to see a photo. I don't spend much time thinking about this topic, so it only registers when I have an example.

I have multiple dealbreakers, physical dealbreaker is just one of them. So even if I find a guy who is physically super appealing he needs to meet my other must-haves too. Adonis level good looks alone wouldn’t qualify him for a relationship.

That said, if he’s otherwise healthy and hygienic I find doughy men very unattractive. A skinny man is preferable to be compared to even a slightly chubby broad shouldered man.

Being short, skinny (especially skinny arms), not muscular. I'm a taller than average woman and have relatively broad shoulders for a female, so that won't work with me. I want to feel smaller compared to the man I'm with.

Balding - somewhat of a receding hairline is perfectly fine. But if bald scalp has started to show, I don't find that attractive. I wouldn't mind if my man loses hair later on but for initial attraction, I would need some hair on your head.

Hairy. I dated a Middle Eastern guy who was hairy and never ever again. Those hairs go eveywhere and men rarely feel it is their job to clean up after themselves. Women all have different dealbreakers. But obese, very short, and poor hygiene are common ones. Mine would be: 1) Obesity - I don’t mind some extra weight, dad bods are cool with me. But someone who’s so fat they huff and puff going up stairs or can’t see their dick standing up is a nope. 2) Petite - Not merely just short or just skinny. I have no issue with a stocky short guy or a skinny tall/average guy. But a short, skinny man with a small frame isn’t my thing. I also prefer fuller-figured and taller women... even though I find many petite girls cute, I don’t desire anything sexual with anyone resembling a child in any way. 3) Weak chin - Grow a beard. 4) Balding with unflattering hairstyle - Shave your head or find a style that works better for your level of hair loss. 5) Too blonde/fair - This is a personal thing, but I strongly prefer men who have brown or black hair and tan or naturally darker skin. I’ve been attracted to people of all races, I just don’t like the really pasty white guys unless they are objectively good looking. This isn’t the case for women.

Things I don’t mind that may be a dealbreaker for some include hairy body, crooked (not rotten) teeth, and facial asymmetry.

For me it has to do with a general unhealthy look. So that would include very low muscle tone combined with premature balding and really bad skin. Since I’m only 20, these things sort of suggest that a guy is already aging extremely fast when he’s around my age. One of these things wouldn’t be a deal breaker but some people have that look anyways and it can be due to not eating enough calories or having poor lifestyle habits.

Using tobacco products-- smoking, chewing tobacco, vaping, etc.

It causes hygiene problems a lot of users don't realize they have.
The odor issues smoking causes isn't jut confined to the smoker if they smoke around you or if you live with them. Even if they smoke outside, the tar and odor permeates their clothes and skin which rubs off on fabrics in your house.
Everytime I see someone chewing tobacco I can't help but see some dentist's cash cow walking around.
I don't want to pay for the health consequences that will inevitably pop up in a long-term relationship.
I don't want to have to go through providing end-of-life care for a spouse who incurred a largely preventable health condition because they didn't quit. End of life care already is difficult enough, but knowing they didn't necessarily have to suffer this way from lung/throat cancer would be even more tolling and, for me, add additional anger and frustration to the grief. I don't want to feel angry with my dying spouse.
The filth that comes with tobacco use-- spit bottles, ash trays, stained cigarette butts-- are gross to look at and have around the house, even just sitting in their smoking area.
I also don't want to miss out on experiences and opporutnities with a partner due to all the non-lethal but still expensive, inconvenient, and debilitating effects tobacco use has on their body.
Walking around smoking/chewing/vaping and unabashadly indulging in an addiction is unattractive.
Tobacco products are WILDLY expensive. In the US, the base rate for cigarettes tends to track with the minimum wage. So if you live in a state with an $11/hr min wage, that's what the average cigarette price will come out to be around. That really adds up if the person smokes more than 1 pack a week. To me, this says the person (1) probably spends large sums of money in small increments without realizing it or by jutifying it and (2) I don't necessarily trust their financial judgement since they are willing to pay so much for something that provides meager short-term comfort in exchange for such large long-term risks.

So other than the obvious:

I'll be honest with my preference for guys taller than me. I don't care if it makes me look shallow. In saying that I'm 5"2 so this shouldn't be too hard.

Weight can be a deal breaker. I'm a very physical person. I run, i hike, i cycle etc. While you can be bigger and physically fit, generally you won't be. I don't mind some chub or skinny (I have met some ridiculously fit skinny dudes) but if you cross a weight threshold it's a no.

Unkept beards. I like beards, but only when they're groomed.

People who smell.. Weird. Not bad, but weird. Like I don't know how to describe it, but there are men who are otherwise fine but I smell them and recoil.

Fat, weird patterned facial hair, sloppy dresser, strange body to head proportions, questionable teeth, certain body shapes ie man pear/man barrel/skinny but with pot belly, men who try to grow their hair longer to cover up bald spots, slouchy posture, breath issues, odd body odors some men have a real metallic/sour smell, ungroomed fingernails, greasy skin or super dry skin.

under groomed ( don’t have to be a reality star just look and smell like you take care of yourself )
bad style ( same thing here, I don’t want to feel like I have to give you a dress code when we’re out with each other )
bad mannerisms ( I think that’s self explanatory)
personally I’m not attracted to skinny men.

This one guy I went out with for a little bit had this toe nail thing where he couldn't cut them for whatever reason. So he had these claw feet, and the big toe toe nail on one foot was all mangled and purple from a table-falling-on-toe accident.

Besides bad hygiene, fat and excess body hair the kind of physical build that just says you don’t hit the gym or do any physical activity. When I see a guy with a stomach or body softer than mine it just kills my libido

I don't really like big and muscular, my preference is short and lean. Less scary that way. If hes a lot bigger than me I'm not really going to be interested. Bald is also probably going to be off putting for me, or a shaved or overtly butch hair cut. I prefer longer more natural hair.
