We did this about 10 years ago. We called it an affirmative action bake-sale where white males had to pay full price, but depending on a matrix of how much of a minority you are, you got a reduced price.

A lot of people who got reduced prices were actually offended...which was kind of the point since it brought attention to how discriminatory affirmative action can be.

Are you certain this isn't being done to elicit the same kind of response for the same reason? I mean, if that's the case you kind of fell for it.

Every time I see one of these, I must point out that most of them are protests designed to show the unfair treatment of men compared to women in college acceptance. Many times they will splinter it off and have different pricing for Asians, Natives, Hispanics, and Blacks.

It is, in those cases, a positive thing. You will only know by talking to them why they are doing this.

One of the clubs (I think it was the conservatives club) where i went to college had an affirmative action bake sale once. If i remember correctly if you were white donuts were a dollar, black 50c and Asian 25c or something like that. The administration put a stop to it right quick on a technicality that they didn't properly register their prices for the sale
