I was listening to these two people called "Fresh and Fit" on a podcast trying to explain that women are only interested in the top 10% of men, also known as "high status men". And if you don't have wealth, height/looks, status, you won't be getting any attention from modern women.

Isn't that whole idea instantly disproven by walking outside and seeing average people in relationships? Are they trying to say all of those men are tall, wealthy, and popular? Help me understand what they are trying to say, because it sounds delusional to me.
