I want to word this sensitively. Women who are themselves far above average get interest from men who are far above average, so this is directed at women who only or mostly get interest from average men and choose to stay single because those men are not attractive to them. Other women are free to offer opinions of course.

So how are those men lacking? To make sense of this, how do you define "average"? Is it the average man who shows interest in you, because he might be above or below average compared to "men"? Is average a regular guy who is so-so across a range of traits you look at, so you just don't feel attraction? Or do you find most men lacking in one or two significant areas that kills any potential interest?

I ask because when men hear or see "just not attracted" they often assume it's all about the man's looks or height or lack of status that might compensate for other so-so traits. While those things may be factors, I think women (and most experienced men) see potential partners more holistically than that.

So what's average to you, and if average isn't interesting what might a man do to spark interest?

Edited for punctuation and word or two.
