To me, a woman, a low value woman would be someone who:

Chronically starts shit for no reason. Drama queen.
Says she wants to be a “housewife” but doesn’t actually take care of the home or do anything when she’s not working. Doesn’t take good care of kids if she has them, may be abusive or neglectful.
Cheater/liar, same as for a low value man.
Is overall a drain on your resources and happiness and doesn’t add anything positive to your life. I feel like this definition sums up both low-value men and women. They aren’t actually that different.

I had a friend who was married to a low-value woman. She had all the above traits.

To the average man, however it’s probably more like:

Fat
Unattractive face
Over 30
Has kids

I think I'm pretty low value. In my early 20s I was quite overweight. I also had a bunch of health issues (still do) and was too sick to work and lived with my dad. I didn't have any friends since I had to move to a city where i knew no one to live with my dad.

It was extremely lonely and isolating. I didn't have any hobbies because I was too depressed. I thought about suicide constantly. The only reason I didn't kill myself is my dog. I didn't think anyone would take care of him properly if I was dead.

I have to eat a super limited diet because of my bladder disease (almost all foods and drinks inflames the bladder lining and causes extreme agony), so i lost a LOT of weight. Over 130lbs. Still couldn't get dates. I did the online thing. Would chat a bit to guys, but once they learned my situation they'd disappear.

After about two years of this, I got a treatment that helped immensely for about two years. In that time, I managed to get a job and my own place. Then I had some people interested. They were not ideal, but sex is incredibly painful because of my bladder and bowel issues, so I needed a guy that could potentially go very long term without PIV. So, only the most desperate of guys, and some of them were WEIRD. Like dress up in their mothers clothes and want me to dominate them and call them a bad bad girl, weird. Some were creepy and even scary. Like randomly showing up at my place at night and getting angry when I wouldn't let them in.

Some were just nice lonely guys. One while we didn't hit it off, I still talk to from time to time 6 years later.

I met my husband through an acquaintance. He is by far the best looking guy I've ever been with. He's incredibly good looking (imo). He's not a chad. He isn't tall (same height as me) or rich (works retail), but I sure as shit feel blessed and don't have a fucking clue why he's slumming it with me or why he put a ring on it. I got to be a lot more hassle than I'm worth.

He also put a ring on it when the treatments stopped working and my health took another nose dive. Don't know what he was thinking.

In fact, LVW are talked about a lot here, and they’re called post wall women.

But the topic of LVW isn’t as interesting as talking about LVM for several reasons. Men can be top 30 percentile, and still struggle immensely in dating, which is explained by the sexually hypergamous nature of women. Also, women and society in general tend to sugar coat women’s hypergamous and how important looks are to women, by telling men “just be nice”, “it’s your personality, not your looks”, this makes things interesting to debate. When it comes to LVW, everyone knows what that means, ugly very big girl, and value is more intuitive, since men rate women fairly, and not based on hypergamy.

Low value with regards to what?

One of the interesting dynamics here is the fact that women can be extremely high value as sex partners while simultaneously being extremely low value for relationships. And in fact, an inverse correlation seems to develop because of the positive way people interact with attractive people, which lessens the pressure on them to develop social skills that also translate to relationships.

With men there's less of a split. Women don't go searching for non-relationship sex at nearly the rate that men do, plus the expectations and roles are just different. A man's high value as a sex partner matters less than his value as a relationship partner, which means the latter is more of a sole factor for men.

So if you're a low-value woman in the sexual desirability scale (what most people here probably think of when they think low-value) there's still a chance that you can win out and land a relationship. If you're a low-value woman on the relationship desirability scale, there's a significant chance that you developed that because you were high on the sexual desirability scale and didn't need to develop social skills when you were young and beautiful.

At the top of the SMV hierarchy are 8+/10 men. They can get most anything they want out of life, have a very easy time with women, respected and admired by the general population at face value.

Next are 8+/10 women. They are right up there with the men, and they might even get more out of life for free. However, their shelf life is somewhat shorter than the 8/10 man typically. They may still have a tough time getting respect and many will assume they have only coasted through life on their looks, almost irrespective of their accomplishments.

Somewhat below them are 3-7 range women. They have a lot of options in SMV, and can almost always lock down a real relationship or casual flings to their hearts' desire. They can usually rely on immutable characterstics to have a fulfilling romantic life, and are even sometimes respected as people more by men than the 8+

Next down is 3-7 range men. They are significantly worse off in the market than the women generally speaking. Their goal is to acquire money, social status, or whatever else to make up for their average looks. For most of history, these guys were comfortable above the women but in recent generation I think they have fallen down.

Next is sub 3 men. This is a massive step down in quality of life. Dating in this category can be downright unbearable without fame and fortune. they are commonly the butt of jokes and expected to shut up and know their place. They can 'get lucky' if they have something extraordinary going for them, usually something so difficult to acquire that it may as well be immutable characteristic.

Very hardest spot is sub 3 women. I'm sure some incels will debate this, but I feel pretty strongly that dating life as an ugly women has to be the worst lot to pick. Most men won't care how much money they can make or anything else about their life. It's a hard pass and many men are embarrased to be seen dating them

I think one concept that is greatly overlooked when it comes to deciding if someone is "low value" or not is individual needs. I'm 38 and married; I never even heard the terms high or low value till social media consumption peaked a couple of years ago. What is low value to someone may be irrelevant or even high value to someone else. For example, let's say a woman is traditional with the goal of being a stay at home wife and mother and not work a day outside the home. To a man who wants a traditional wife with him as the sole provider, this is a high value woman. For a more modern man who wants an equally ambitious spouse and doesn't want children, he is going to consider this woman low value. The same concept applies to men. I think the only things that should be accepted as universally low value is shitty behavior, victim mentality, narcissism, etc. For everything else, all of us are going to be perceived as low value to some and high value to others.

It's a mixed bag and a wide disparity. There are two basic kinds of Low Value Women.

The first kind is much more common.

--she's been pumped and dumped more than a few times. Has a poor idea of her own sexuality. Has never had good, enjoyable or fun sex. Can orgasm only when masturbating. Has distorted notions of sex and what its role is in her life.

--has some kind of childhood issue or mental illness or disorder she's dealing with. This problem interferes with most of her relationships and actively repels all but low value men.

--is very frustrated with this issue or illness, is aware it's causing problems, but cannot or will not address it

--her life is chaotic and unstable - constantly has problems that consume her time, effort and energy.

--blames others for her problems

--personality - low key, bland, not talkative. Insecure. Has poor sense of self. Some exaggerated traits - severe anger issues. insecurity to the point of anxiety at interaction with others. Extreme self consciousness.

--Has little to offer a man. Few to no domestic skills. Doesn't really like doing anything - boring, uninterested, aloof. Doesn't take care of herself - has one or more glaring physical flaws. Doesn't dress well, doesn't look her best. She usually knows this and either doesn't care, or believes that improving this won't make any difference.

This kind of woman is caught in a negative feedback loop. She tries to pull herself out, but is constantly met with failure. The way out for her is to get some therapy and some help with her physical appearance issues.

The second kind ends up at FDS.

--been pumped and dumped one too many times.

--personality: Demanding, bitchy, entitled, bitter, pissed off at the world. Pissed off especially at men for not giving her the relationships she wanted and because high value men openly reject her.

--erroneously thinks that she's a high value woman and constantly refers to herself as a HVW or a "queen" or "princess". (Most real high value women never actually refer to themselves as such; they allow their high value to speak for itself.)

--has a pathological need to control every aspect of her relationships with men.

--openly and loudly blames everyone else for her problems

--at least average looking. Could do well if they'd get therapy and learn that the men they deal with want things from their relationships too.

Some factors 1. Single mom- obviously this varies as there are single moms with one kid they support, widowers, healthy coparents to four kids different dads, on government handouts, dads not involved 2. Mental illness- cluster B personalities, bipolar, depression/anxiety especially if not under control. Also adding incurable STDs here 3. Appearance- weight, hygiene, taking care of teeth etc. 4. Substance abuse- alcoholic, smoker, meth user etc. 5. Age- Someone in their 20s even with the above issues will have an easier time than someone in their 50s. Especially if the man is looking to start a family

I think a few things that could be a bonus (to increase value not decrease) but don’t matter for women as much as men are career, education, goals etc. obviously no one wants someone that has zero goals in life but if you don’t have anything on my above list that decreases “value” and the job a woman has is subpar she can still find a man who makes decent money/attractive etc. I know because it’s me lol.

Low value women don't get their issues recognised. They are like incel guys in terms of frustration but don't get the social acknowledgement of their difficulties recognised because of the way that the sexual marketplace is structured. People, both men and women, default to assuming it is easier for them than it is. Depends on what you mean by low value. Are we talking financial status? Personality? Manners? Social ability? Physical looks/attractiveness?

I'm pretty sure a general rule of thumb for either is that people WANT a partner that has their shit (mostly) together, isn't struggling to put food in their fridge every month, has a personality compatible with their own, is nice (in a general sense), and has a decent circle of friends, and is considered at minimum mildly attractive.

If someone does not have a minimum of those qualities, I think most people consider them low value (man or woman). Just my assumption.

“Low value” for women is a lot less easy to quantify than for men because women are generally more catered to in society, and as someone who’s in the STEM field I see this all the time. It’s not uncommon to find women who would be considered losers if not for their program of study/jobs, and professional/STEM fields heavily favor women at the moment. Women in general can get away with a lot more socially if they’re in something that’s traditionally considered “a boys’ club,” it’s other women that tend to be harsher on them.

I would consider a low tier woman to be:

Impulsive. Does things because she knows she can get away with it, and without thinking of consequences or those around her.
Narcissistic; inflated sense of self-importance (precisely because people enable her BS).
A “yes girl.” Obsessed with social status, does whatever her friends are doing, has no real tastes or opinions of her own, defines herself by what men think of her, addicted to social media, will do anything for approval/popularity.
Always getting pumped and dumped, or doing the pumping as dumping. Bonus points if she’s cheated before.
No effort into appearance (poorly groomed, unfit, no sense of style, just looks ratty and uncoordinated all the time).
Heavy drinker or pothead. Many, many bonus points if she’s into harder drugs.
Has used sexual favors to get ahead socially, in school, at work, etc.
Children from a few different dads.
Sex worker/e-girl.
Extremely superficial requirements for men bordering on gold-digging.
Actual gold-digging.
FDS.
Genuine hatred for men/daddy issues.
Whines about all her exes.
Makes mental illness her personality.
Into obnoxious trendy third wave feminism and social activist causes, albeit at a very superficial level (I don’t mind activism but you can tell who’s doing it because it’s popular).
Polyamorous.
Covered in low effort tattoos and piercings.
Has the nerve to wonder where the good men went despite doing a lot of what’s mentioned here.

I think this constant categorizing of people by sexual market value is kind of shitty and crazy, to be honest. I mean yes, it's a real thing. But people are more than this, IMO. I am somewhat spiritual/religious, so I hate to see people boxed in like this. And btw, I was a total "Chad" as a kid who has turned into LRV due to issues in middle age. I've dated way up into the stars and I have dated way down into the bottom 20% of people in my lifetime. All over the place. People are people. Some people are good, kind people. Some people are not. I dunno if it's good for people who are actively dating to get into this "Pill" bullshit and overanalyze their dating lives. We never thought about this when I was a kid: we just dated. I think there is a old Spanish or Chinese proverb that goes something on the lines that there's no such thing as an ugly 15 year old or 18 year old. Can't remember or find the exact wording, but the I see a lot of truth behind the general idea it conveys, women's value is highly linked with youth.

So whereas a low value man are never given a chance, being low value in youth and in old age, almost all women stand in a privileged position at one point in their life in their youth. The high value women go from being young and looking young to being old but still looking young, not much changes for them. The average women can use the opportunity in their youth to lock down a good man. Low value women squander what advantage they had at youth. Their life would suck just as much as a low value man, but unlike their male counterpart, they had a window of opportunity low value men never had.

There's countless factors that go into females being low value.

Most of them are things that people don't think about though besides fertility, age, fitness, beauty/sex appeal.

Behavior, interests, how they spend their free time (always on netflix or youtube social media etc ????????).

Most men won't want a narcissistic women or a women that treats everyone but them like ****. And a lot of men in scarcity mindset will be fine with a girl that treats everyone like **** until the relationship gets longer and she begins treating him poorly too or he realizes how much people don't like him because of his girlfriend/wife treating him or making him treat others poorly.
