It has zero to do with porn or video games or anything like that. Women are the limiting factor. There are way fewer young women than young men actively seeking sex and relationships. Anywhere you might go to meet people, whether dating apps, bars, Meetups, or singles events, is typically going to be a sausage fest. More men pausing their video games and showing up to these things would not, in the aggregate, result in any more sex being had or relationships being formed. More women showing up would. There are only so many women out there looking, and that's the cap on how much sex and romance there can be.

To use a simplified analogy, it's like if there was a town with 100 job openings and 400 active job seekers. How silly would it be to speculate that the town's unemployment rate has anything to do with the job seekers? 300 aren't getting a job, period.

I anticipate some "women aren't interested because men suck so much" type comments, but this is ridiculous. In aggregate, men are more professionally successful than women, spend more time at the gym, and put more effort into their game and social skills. I've literally never heard of a woman who has trouble attracting suitors that are at least comparable in terms of career, looks, and social adeptness.

I don't want to involve emotionally charged language, like that I'm "blaming" women. I'm saying it in the most neutral way possible; the population-level trends we're seeing are simply a product of women not prioritizing sex and relationships like they did in decades past. It's not complex and there's no logical reason to make it about men's behavior.
