Women are individuals just like men. Can only speak for myself, but individually I have met amazing women that I could work with, talk intellectually with, and just overall "vibe" with. I have crossed many non-sexual paths with women who I wish nothing but the best and hope they are pursuing their dreams. Also met fucking terrible women that fully take advantage of society and men in the exact way the RP men describe, but again, individuality.

Of course women are equals. Obviously men and women have different advantages, but everyone in the 21st century is capable of success. Likewise, in terms of house duties, Statistically, men work harder jobs and longer hours than women. But one glove doesn't fit all situations, and a couple needs to evaluate that for themselves. Does my spouse stay home or work a 7-3 desk job? maybe pick up more household chores. Does my spouse work 12 hours a day and make more than me? Shit, lemmie put the roast on and clean the bathroom.

BEING ON TINDER IS NOT DATING. Going on dates is dating.

If only it was that simple. Need to get your foot in the door somehow if you struggle with confidence.

I wouldn't be able to be genuine friends with women if i didn't. Tho there are some women i genuinely dislike on a personal level where i certainly feel them to be lesser. But i have my reasons for that, that is based on their shitty behaviour. But in general i approach every woman on a basis of equality.

I think so yeah. My friend once asked me, after i told him about this girl i like that he also knew, "Hey lets say you get a relationship with her. What exactly are you two going to talk about?" I would expect housework to be shared equally, maybe with some caveats regarding like if i work 10 hour days for example and she is unemployed i would expect some consideration for that.

OP is a little pointless. The idea that “perhaps because you don’t see women as equal partners, and fully autonomous strong independent queens and princesses is possibly why you don’t get attention from women” is a bit ridiculous.

It completely ignores the fact that some of the biggest chauvinists, most egotistical misogynists, some of the men with the WORST opinions of women are consistently viewed as attractive and able to get sex and maintain relationships with women. Not an exact representative of the ppl you’re asking. And I’m not gonna speak for them as they are their own ppl. But if I were to hazard a guess it’s resentment. Not to pull a sob story but one more to the reality these men likely feel.

Resentment not of women. But of the societal privileges they have that aren’t able to be talked about in the mainstream at all really. Along with and constant demonisation of male expressions of sexuality as predatory and a lot of what society has deemed to be unacceptable to men has been inextricably linked to them as ppl.

U can read that resentment flair up from using logic to hide behind very personal biases of which have happened through this hurt. At the end of the day. The men here aren’t representing most who have either success in the societal expectations associated around dating dynamics between men and women or the men like me for example who don’t really care about this stuff like that. I can totally understand how this translates to misogyny sometimes but often it’s just what happens when society bottles up these problems and pushes men toward these spaces to speak to the more raw truth of their interactions with women and the dissonance accompanying these double standards and societal blindspots. Women become homogenised and generalised with a lack of empathy due to the same not being extended and excused through those societal biases. Like how men approaching women is always deemed to be predatory unless on terms of which aren’t consistent and fair for most men. Which translates to this blanket resentment. I mean. How many times have ppl brought up the 1 in 6 stat like 13/50 to justify misandry or just overgeneralised biased perspectives.

Men and women need to take accountability for themselves and also be honest. But often it does translate to a pro woman bias a lot of the time. Even mentioning that is probably going to be met with some denial with women based on their limited perspectives without engaging properly with the men here. Of whom due to feeling like this bury themselves into proving points to justify their existence

I like a lot of women in real life as people. I don't like the female hivemind collective though aka the way middle class American women act on the Internet.

I think men and women are essentially equal - we have different strengths and weakness which is perhaps controversial to say these days, but it all balances out.

I connect with loads of women intellectually, but I wouldn't say it's the best basis for a relationship. It's necessary for a good, lasting relationship, but in my experience the BASIS aka first important thing is mutual sexual attraction. That's for romantic relationships, of course. For friendship, absolutely - intellectual connection should be the basis.

Personally, I expect to do 100% of the housework at home. That's because I tend to attract alt/hippy type women who don't "do" cleaning etc. It's frustrating sometimes, but I'm old enough to have made my peace with it.

I think most women are extremely boring overall, so that is why men only request them for sex. Even boring women want a "fun" man and expect to be entertained for free.

Women get mad when men expect SOMETHING from them, at least sex, at least company after giving everything. Somehow women believe their presence is enough, while in fact it is often expensive, annoying, a waste of time and in many cases it ends in nothing of value.

I see women as potentially equals but perceive them as not wanting to connect with me or share my emotions with me and instead just wanting me for dick validation attention and money.

In terms of doing the work at home. I expect to keep things as clean as I did if I was single and expect there to be some tension if she has slightly higher standards. Really I end up not being aware of some minor things my exes were aware of and struggled to make myself remember them so instead cooked them delicious food and put time and love into that.

Mostly I just feel like women want to be chased and pursued and aren't interested in getting to know me.

Putting the cart before the horse a bit, eh? I tolerate most people. To "like" someone I would have to genuinely enjoy their company and feel energized by that time together... that is a very small subset of people, entirely.

But, counting the number of males and females that I genuinely like, women pull out ahead just slightly, and I think it's because they're more comfortable with basic human things like hugs and are less likely to be emotionally bottled up. People who are unable to hug are just... uncomfortable to be around.

There needs to be a certain amount of mental flexibility and compromise in order to facilitate conversation instead of endless arguments; a willingness to learn, understand, and teach in kind. I think normative gender dynamics may be at play here, but men seem to be more likely to be deficient in the first two (willingness to learn and understand) and women are less likely to be assertive and teach in kind.

So with men, those first two shortcomings just end up being repugnant and flare emotions. With women, with enough work, openness, and encouragement, I can usually pry open those thoughts and opinions. (This is usually a rewarding experience, as a lot of women are simply stepped on or not called upon in group, mixed-gender settings. And this condition usually starts in school where girls get called on less by teachers.) And if not? Yeah, boring as can be. I could not see myself in a fulfilling relationship with a "yes woman."

Honestly, I believed these things when I was a teenager but as I've gotten older I can't say for sure.

It seems like I get along with more liberal/left leaning women because that's where I am ideologically but that almost never turns them on. When I was a boxer and I was basically a bully and had more of a right leaning mindset women found that to be 100x more attractive. Women like men who are ready to address conflict or carry conflict within themselves.

They don't really care about how dangerous that is or what affects that could have on his life. It's just more exciting than a man doing everything right but is a "square". And even if they are with the square, they'll disrespect him by going to cheat with Mr.Exciting.

I believe we are all individuals but I did realize women don't really see me the way I (used to) see them. I really thought that in a relationship it was me and her vs the world and we'd be together through thick and thin. This was provided we were both attracted to each other.

I found out soon that that's only the case if, you have some sort of monopoly on violence, you have a decent amount of status/money, and you are doing better than 90% of the men around you.

In this sense it makes me think that women aren't really attracted to me. They tolerate me and are around for the wealth, status, and protection I bring. I am not those things, I am me.

In a way it you could say men want women for their bodies and not them, but maybe it's just me but I need a good personality. I need a friend in a sex partner personally.

I kinda screwed myself up as a teenager too. During that boxing phase I sexted a lottt of girls I knew with boyfriends, and that's all I could do since I had no car. Off the sheer number of cheating girlfriends where I was the other guy, and then being cheated on by every girl I've dated, I can't really be confident that women see men as people.

Sometimes I really do just think that women see dating as shopping. Women give themselves out to the highest bidder and price themselves by how much the guy who's she's fucking values his time.

The more his time is worth to himself, the higher the cost of seeing her, the bigger the ego boost she gets from sleeping with him. If that's all I am for most women then I can't really see them as people.

I used to be red pillish - not deep into it, but gravitated towards it due to feelings of loneliness.

I fortunately met some awesome mentors that helped pull me out of it, and I can very confidently say that when you’re in that RP mindset, you absolutely don’t view women as people, even if you think you do.

You have this burning need to have sex. It can become all-consuming. Your entire sense of self-worth is based on it. When you’re in that mindset, women’s value to you is based purely on how likely it is that you can screw then.

Now, I’m on the other side of the coin. I genuinely enjoy connecting with and learning about/from women. Some of them friends. Some of them FWBs or romantic prospects.

The irony in all this is that my sex life is awesome now that I’m not obsessing over it, and my mental health is so much better.

I must say, the opinions of a guy on these questions does not determine his success or failure in dating. In a sense, you lost a purse in the evening and are looking for it under a street light rather than in a place where you most likely lost it.

I would answer yes to your questions. Women are not worse in anything than men and can pursue their own happiness however they want. Intellectual connection is one of the conditions for a good relationship, but it is not the only one or at least a main condition. As for chores, I expect that my partner and I would be able to adjust to lives of each other and distribute chores accordingly.

A little disclaimer: I think some of the basic RP ideas are generally true. It's the extent to which I am into RP.

I'm 40 male, I have several female colleagues at work and they are all in their 50’s or late 40's and they are such a blast to be around. They have bags of experience in life as well as knowledge of the job that helps me immensely in shadowing these individuals.

In contrast, the younger women who are good looking are so unbelievably shallow and conversations with these women are like drawing blood from a rock. And it has nothing to do with looks. It's about the age gap and the disparity between age and experience.

I would like to preface my answers by saying that men are not all the same. Just as women have immense variation in values, habits, interests, preferences, etc, men also have such variation. So my answers will be anecdotal to myself.

I absolutely see women as equals. I see people, as equals. In fact, i don't want a relationship that isn't equal. We are all different, and we all have our strengths and weaknesses, but in the end we are all humans. Male and female are two sides of the same coin, only with different designs.
Intellectual connectivity is crucial for me, as a person. If I intend on integrating my life with that of another person, i want to be able to communicate, express ideas and concerns, and have enjoyable conversation with the person i love and spend much of my life with. It's a mutual effort.
I currently live alone, so it may skew my opinions, but i have an will continue to take care of myself and my living space. I have zero desires or expectations for someone else to maintain my living space, or "take care" of me. If we share the living space, then we share our responsibility of it. How people divide that is up to themselves. I personally will do all that i can to maintain my living space, the more the better. (I personally love cooking for myself and others).

I understand that there are differences between men and women, and that is to be expected, and it can be difficult to not start playing the blame game because we are frustrated with our own experiences and circumstances. If you ever have had a roommate, friend, or family member of a foreign culture, you might understand how frustrating it can be, even if the personal friendship is there. But i also try my best to not categorize or label people (or sexes). I believe everyone should understand that people are people, and if one type of relationship dynamic or experience isn't working, then try changing variables to obtain different outcomes. I have personally felt frustrated with women as a whole, but then realize later that it isn't that simple, and it's far more complex than "all women". I do enjoy, appreciate, and desire for women to be in my life, and not just romantically. They add so much that i cannot. Of course I am sexually attracted to women, however that is only one small part of my desire for a romantic relationship. And i desire for and appreciate my non-romantic and non-sexual relationships with the women in my life.

I normally don't comment, but i hope that people don't ruin opportunities or relationships based on stereotypes and poor experiences. Not all men and not all women are the same. Sure, many trends of history are disheartening, but I try to see people for who they are, their character, and not just the categories people lump them into.

Yes there are a lot of women I really like, admire and even look up to. However it’s not because of their womanhood or femininity or whatever. They’re just particularly smart, funny, thoughtful, caring, determined, talented, or any other trait.

The thing is, I am romantically/sexually attracted to far, far more women than the women I described in my first paragraph. Some of these women I like are not even romantic options. So it’s not uncommon to spend time with a woman I want to have sex with but who I otherwise don’t hold in that high regard.

When I meet a woman I’m both sexually attracted to and really like, I try to make her my girlfriend. I’ve only succeeded twice in my life. It’s rare because not only do I need to like her, she has to like me back and more than all the other dudes.

When I befriend a dude there's no expectation of sex or a relationship. It's t not on the table. You're just platonic friends. Yoj give each other a hard time and that's that. Relationship issues may come up but they aren't common.

Women are different. A relationship or sex can happen anytime and many are happy to bring it up. "I had such amazing sex with my boyfriend last night", no man will tell you that. You're more likely to hear relationship issues from women. And if you try to give her a hard time, she may report you. I can say racist things to my male coworkers and get racist things back. I don't dare do the same with my female coworkers.

I think women are great. I gravitate towards intelligence, actually. That said, I probably could never live with one because I'd make her miserable, and that would make me miserable.

I view women as moral equals of men, and roughly equal in capability overall.

Women now need to put themselves in men's shoes. Hypergamy--the core instinct for a woman to want a man above/better/superior to her in some hard to perfectly articulate way--is tough to navigate for a man in an egalitarian society. Women, justifiably, think of themselves as equals to men overall. They definitely do not want men in general to dominate women. However, most women do want THEIR man to in some way lead or be above them, but only when the woman wants. She also wants the right to be a perfectly equal partner on any issue that she decides warrants that.

Not only does this make pairing math difficult on a macro scale, but it makes it hard for men in a relationship. The safest thing is for a man to simply mate with a woman that he is sufficiently more capable than so that he has a large cushion with respect to meeting the hypergamous burden. But in today's world, that isn't always who a guy meets and falls for. Often it is for a woman very close to him in capability, where the margin for meeting her hypergamy becomes thin.

Each fight or decision or whatever becomes one thing on the local scale. i.e. who wins or loses on that issue. That is what it is like for the woman. But the man also has to worry about his overall win/loss rate, or just how competent he starts to seem in aggregate. How weak emotionally, etc.

I have dated many years and I have met many women, some shared hobbies and some were really funny but the vast majority of them didn't really like the same things despite pretending they did, and were a bit boring for a conversation. I wouldn't be surprised if many women thought the same of us men.

I don't like anyone that doesn't like me... I've heard enough "men are trash", "men ain't shit" statements that I'm almost convinced the modern woman sees men as a collective to do her bidding. Misandry runs unchecked. To answer the title - Do I like women? Yes.

Men and women are supposed to complimentary not equal. For instance, moving house, I will work to keep income coming while she packed the house, on moving day she directed traffic while I (literally) did the heavy lifting. It is meant to be a team effort.

I used to think women were my equal. Actually, I used to put them on a pedestal. I don't think that they are my equal anymore. Most are not as strong or logical as I am. Those are traits that are needed to survive on a daily basis in the wild.

But, you know what is absolutely needed for the human race to survive on a universal level? The ability to create more human life. For that, I cherish women. That is an ability that I will never, ever be able to do or experience myself, ever.

So, not equal, but equally important.

Sex? I never understood the complex relationship that women have with sex, and it frustrated me as a young man.

Now, I'm a bit older, and I value affection much more than intimacy. But, I can't even get affection, because women treat men with suspicion and distrust.

The housework? Women use that as a weapon in a relationship.

I have examples. I value a nice clean home. But, my wife would make a point of making a big deal out of cleaning the baseboards around every room. The baseboards. And then she would criticize me for this not also occurring for me to do. But, the baseboards only seemed to be needed to be cleaned towards the end of our marriage. They magically weren't dirty during the years before.

Her sister has her own family, and they live far away from the rest of the larger family. They would do Thanksgiving by themselves. They also live in a semi-tropical location, and are doing pretty good financially. The sister is motherly, and so was going to make the turkey for Thanksgiving one specific Thanksgiving. I heard about this story from my wife afterwards.

Now, I have made Thanksgiving dinner before. It's a long span of time while the turkey cooks, and then a bit of chaos at the end to time everything right, and to bring everything together. My wife's sister decided, on the biggest cooking day of the year, to clean the oven - with harsh chemicals - before the turkey was put into the oven, not after.

Anyone who has done that knows that it takes most of a waking day to do, as it heats up your oven to several hundreds of degrees, stays there for a while, and creates a lot of smoke and acrid smells during the process. She decided to do this on Thanksgiving Day, the biggest cooking day of the year, and she complained that everyone else was outside in the pool during this time. Sheesh. I actually don't remember if they actually had a Thanksgiving dinner that Thanksgiving, now that I think about it.

All that extra pain, strife, and discomfort, just for attention and sympathy.

"You don't understand. That's just how women are." Ugh. Well, then I find that women tend to be shallow, erratic, and unnecessarily destructively vindictive.

So, I cherish women, but I prefer not to be with most of them right now. And, my life is more peaceful now. I would like to have a loving and wholesome relationship with a women right now, but, if I have to prove that I'm a worthy man for her, then she also has to prove that she won't resort to such tactics above.

This is derivative of quite old and common talking point: that men don't see women as people. Which itself seems to be derived from Simone de Beauvoir's notion that men have created and maintain the system that makes us see women as "the other". The problem is, even philosophers who came up with the concept of "the other", very much disagreed what it means exactly.

I don't see or like most men "as people". I like money, free time, buying stuff, tasty food. Funny TV shows. And I have no idea how to like some vast group "as people".

I’ve never had a problem with women but I can’t see them as equals most of the time. Every woman I’ve had as a boss, I’ve not respected or feared the same way as a man. It’s just nature I think. A woman simply isn’t as imposing or commanding as a man (on average, obviously there would be some exceptions). It’s also hard to see women as equals when they’re typically so much physically weaker.

Intellectually sure I think women are equal, there’s plenty of smart women out there and I also think women are naturally superior caretakers and councillors. But when I worked blue collar work I’d much prefer to have a male coworker or male boss.

Men and woman can connect intellectually and that forms a key part of some relationships. However I don't think it is needed. People who don't speak the same language are capable of developing deep emotional bonds. I am bonded to my dog and he has never said a word to me.

Not really. I think at the very least they are complimentary. I think each have their strengths which can play their respective roles in interpersonal interaction, but to try to quantify the value of their strengths seems impossible, and simply saying “therefore equal” doesn’t make sense.

Absolutely. Physical attraction generally needs to come first though, unless they are in a situation where they are kind of forced to be around each other regularly and have the opportunity to grow on each other (classmates, coworkers, co-ed sports). Assuming they have some degree of physical attraction, they have to have similar levels of intellect.

I generally expect my partner to do most of the cooking. I will cover just about everything else inside the house, and we can run errands together whenever feasible.

I know there have been studies put out that the more educated the couple, the more egalitarian the housework is.

I love women. I live spending time with them for whatever reason. Had many female friends. I don't even view sex as the point, but it does happen a lot.

Had plenty of intellectual connections, some very deep. There's always so much to find in a woman, if you pry deeply. It's fascinating, and surprising.

I know what men think, it's not complicated. It's more interesting to talk with women. You can talk about more topics with women and you don't have to be limited to guy stuff. I've spent inordinate amounts of time in conversation with women. I've known so many.

I'm type A, so it's hard for someone to do as much as me. But I seem to have found someone who doesn't know when to stop.

I have no idea what the pills are, just vaguely. I don't subscribe to other peoples' ideas, I form my own from experience.

I have always thought women were equal. There's no other way to think. If you have some preconception of what you get, you're not going to see what's there. I do like smart women the most.

And, every woman is completely unique, once you get to know them a bit, and I've known hundreds from over a dozens countries.

Not purely because of them being women, more because of a cultural standard in behavior which has made many of them off-putting. Its nuanced and hard to explain though. I think its this weird way men are kinda demonized and yet simultaneously lionized in western society which means that I struggle with connecting with many women.

I get a lot of attention from women. The kind of attention that a lot of incels claim the "Chad" types receive. But I feel, among women, there is less appreciation for mens whole selves, not just whatever they look like or what they can bring to the table. Of course I like women. I was raised by women. I’ve had incredible colleagues that were women. Some of the best bosses I’ve had are women. I’m incredibly good at building relationships outside of a sexual context. But that’s just the thing. I never learned how to communicate my desires with women. Girls will approach me saying I’m cute or whatever and then I bore the shit out of them with my personality and never escalate romance or sex because I’m afraid to make anyone feel uncomfortable. It’s very fortunate I’m good looking or else I’m sure I would be a virgin as all my experiences were just women throwing themselves at me.

What “red pilled” me was realizing that women never go for the right guy. They go for whoever makes them “tingly” or whatever. I’m pretty tall, symmetrical face, in extremely good shape, have a good job, but I’m not “exciting” I like to garden, I like to read, I like to play soccer with my buddies. Again, I’ve had girls show tons of interest and then as soon as I chat to them about real stuff like hobbies, or background info etc. it’s like their attraction completely dies and my chances are over. On the other hand when I’ve been completely the worst, unavailable, 2:00am “wyd, come over” type dude I’ve had lots of success.

Tl;dr

I find that being genuine is a turn off to women and that makes me sad. I’d say I have a chad face and a dexter brain. And it seems like. No matter how hot they think I am my personality is so bad it scares them away. This is an interesting question. On the whole, I’d say no. Women generally don’t have traits that I value, like courage, honesty, and modesty.

Modern women, especially physically attractive women, are shielded from having to possess any of these traits due to their privilege and not having to develop them in their adolescence, which leads to a sense of entitlement and solipsism for most of their lives.

I think women are relentless hungry to be around the "good presence" they imagine exists in other people, and will spare nobody else's feelings on the quest to feel like they're experiencing a "good vibe" from themselves are someone else. So I admire their tenacity in longing for that goal and have often found solace in it, but I know that people should be careful when a woman says she likes somebody or wants somebody, because deep down she could still have many other unresolved issues and desires keeping her in a pit of discontent, and many women make it their life goal to have others feel their frustration about not being in a nice-feeling enough environment.

Basically, women have an intense amount of "taste" for what good behavior really is, which leads to mostly good things, especially when allowed the freedom to pursue education and work, but women will absolutely make others suffer shame when their sense of "good taste in human presence" gets offended sufficiently.

On the male side of the equation, our sense of "good taste' comes from feeling as though our goals and desires matter completely. We might be better at not reacting when somebody acts like we give off bad vibes to other people, though we might be worse at wanting to change our behavior as well. We would rather move closer to our achievements then go out of our way to make somebody else stop crying because of what we do, but this also leads us to get more validation in general out of taking charge and winning competitions and stuff.

I honestly feel just about the same amount of frustration toward men and women, as I think most people should. Men seem to have a bias toward wanting desperately to make things happen, women have a bias toward being seen as nice, and both cause quite a few shitstorms all the time. It's because of this general difference that makes heterosexuality so frequently miserable. Women are easily convinced someone is being not nice who just wants to do enjoyable things, men are easily convinced someone is being a nag when they just want to improve a social situation. At the core is still somebody who wants to do worthwhile things and be loved, and our capacity to judge ourselves and others is still equally strong.

So, that is my take.

That being said I honestly don’t know if I see women as equals. I guess I could say I think the same as other men as well. Some I highly respect, some are my best friends, and others I wouldn’t hesitate to throw through a wall if they provoked me in the slightest. I really don’t know how I connected with so many women. I’m generally very shy and quiet and don’t even remember the day the women in my life became in my life. It was just all of a sudden they were there and now we’re all chatting and hanging out with one another.

Besides sexual attraction - because biology is what it is - I'm mostly indifferent towards them. My will to interact with people (of both sexes) is usually related to having similar tastes and mine gravitate towards to things which have a mostly male audience, gaming being the main one and despite whatever narrative tells you, it's still a mainly male activity. So whatever need I might have of socializing, I feel it's a better use of my time to talk to fellow men.

Some, yes. Not terribly different than how I approach platonic relationships with men. The women I tend to enjoy being around tend to be a bit more masculine than average and those are the ones I generally end up in LTRs with.

I'm starting to get older (currently 28) and younger women (18-27) just don't have anything to offer at a young age. They have no wisdom, they will not help you out, come to your rescue on the side of the road, most women's hobbies (if they even have any) don't usually overlap with male hobbies. They are absolutely terrible at listening and giving advice. Not all young women but a majority of young women make absolutely terrible friends. They have all the qualities of a bad friend and none of a good one.

I’m a pretty decent conversationalist with most strangers from doing sales for a long time but there is one type of woman that I absolutely can’t form a genuine connection with, unless she has a really good sense of humor.

Honestly, There’s some topics I’m never will be knowledgeable in and the same for women.

Every woman I have been friendly with has been nothing but pleasant to me. Not to suggest every woman is good, but all the women I interact with lately are pretty normal people just like the men.

I sort of miss having women friends like I used to, I was a total obsessive goober back then, I really squandered a gift. At the end of the day they're just people, like you or me.

On the domestic duties issue I'm kind of fucked up. I'd feel bad if my wife would have to do any of the domestic duties, I sort of feel it would be sexist to want her to. I'd want to do all the housework, and be the breadwinner. But that's an impractical and perhaps cruel solution to her.

No, I don't. I particularly dislike the vast majority of women. The vast majority of neurotypical women are incredibly unlikable to me. The few women I befriend are neurodivergent or masculine in their personalities. There is ONE exception to this and truthfully it is likely because I've known her for so long.

I don't see women as equals, I see them as above me. To me it's pretty evident they're somewhat of a protected class. If a woman is doing well her fruits are multiplied.

I expect to do all of the work at a home if I live alone. I do some of the work if I live with someone some of the time. If you pay half the rent you should probably do half the work, regardless of who you're with.

I've been involved with a fair amount of women, both long-term and short term. All things considered I've been pretty lucky, most of them were good relationships. They were good to me and I was good to them.

To me, women live in a complete parallel reality. That's a major part of their charm, but I get sad if I'm mostly around them for too long. Not entirely sure why but I have a few ideas. Mainly difficulty relating to them or finding much in common with them once the initial novelty of talking to them wears off. Note that this doesn't mean I'm bad at long term relationships, those have gone well for me and I'm able to get close with them just fine, but intimacy with one person is a different skillset than being friends with people at large.

I think one reason it's a bit saddening is because they have so much energy and spend it on kind of... charmingly pointless stuff? Dunno. Actually I think the biggest difference is they get serotonin from menial tasks and I don't. That could be the root of all this.

The only decent comparison that makes sense is them and children. You hate kids? Fine. You love them and hang around them all the time? Fine. In both cases I think that makes you a bit weird. A normal person has an opinion somewhere in between the two. And to me, it's very weird *not* to be sexist to some degree.

My problem with women doesn't start with women. It starts with society and culture.

Women are protected, coddled and elevated, and YOU CANNOT do those things for one without expense to the other, namely men. If you're asking "are men and women objectively equal". I don't know what it would mean to be "objectively equal". Whether something is "equal" based on values we hold is necessarily subjective. If I don't value anything, not even my own life, then everything would necessarily have an equal value, that value being zero.

If you're asking are "are men and women equal on traits that most people value" then the answer to that would be no, but in which direction depends on what you're talking about. Women in general are valued more than men, but not really for anything they do. So you could say women are "above men" in that sense and thus not equal. Or you could define it in terms of people valuing what is actually brought to the table to improve people's lives, in which case, that would be men, as men have brought more things to which people value, like civilization. Thankfully, I have been able to make sure that I don't have too many female subordinates because my company recognized the risk they represented at the peak of the metoo epidemic and after several false complaints that many colleagues, including myself, were able to counter with video proof. Some guys weren't as lucky because they had been slack about installing CCTV cameras everywhere. All senior executives have had multiple cameras in their office that are reviewed every week, front doors have been removed, and you always have more than one secretary within earshot. No fraternization is permitted between men and women outside work. Sensible men skip office parties, and never travel with female colleagues or subordinates.

I have cameras at the front door of my apartment as well as my house, and upload of those feeds to my work place server is automated. Yes, one of the false complaints involved a subordinate claiming that I had taken her home. I made sure that she wasn't just fired, but also never worked for any of our clients. I think she has found a job in teaching where she is probably a great fit given the state of our education system.

Our HR Department is a disaster, but since we care about the bottom-line more than virtue signalling, they haven't been able to have their way on most critical things. The markets into which we are relocating from Europe (China, India and Vietnam) don't have any time for their third wave feminist nonsense since they still have old fashioned values of hard work and good education. New HR hires in those locations report only to their local leads, with no contact with headquarters since those operations are independent after budgeting.

So, do I like women? I have female relatives for whom I will do anything. But as a divorced guy who will not entertain gold-diggers, I don't live in illusions. A man's life is simpler when he can work in a female free environment (very few exceptions), he can be more productive, and office politics is a lot easier to navigate.

I don't think you have the conversation and connection first, before the actual relationship. Or can you force the conversation and have it proactively. I think women inherently learn to talk to the man as a man, and men in relationships after a while understand that you can't talk to a woman like you would with a man. So they humor each other for the sake of the relationship - because neither wants to call out the concessions they are doing to communicate with the other.

This is actually a good point for TRP. It though me to be kinder in these conversations. Understand a lady won't enjoy my business talk, and has the need to me to be there and listen to drama talk from her work. But if we lean in to what we are good at and trust our partner does what they are better than us at and remove it from the other's plate - both our lives are better.

Let's say an accountant marries a OF dude. Of curse women are equal. I really don't get it. Sure there are some physical differences in our bodies but mentally we are just the same brains. We might think differently about some stuff depending on culture and how we were raised but we are just individuals. I would argue men and women think differently amongst themselves (in their own biological sex group).

As for the work-at-home thing, I feel like it depends on each couple. If we both work then definitely. But I would like to be at a point in my life where I work and my wife doesn't need to so I can treat her more and she has more time for her hobbies but that's just me. So IMO if I work 10 or 12 hours per day and I'm exhausted and my wife doesn't have to work I would not expect to do half the chores at home when I'm back.

I’ve had wonderful conversations with women from a young age. And not so great ones. It was eye opening how I got left out from social groups ugly guys friends are treated like dead weight lol when its not one on one convo. Regardless of skills or humor your not getting the invite.

Seeing women I would try to flirt with test the waters with etc jump through hoops to get the tall guys didn’t make me mad or upset or lash out. But it gets hard to throw on a smile.

Life would be pretty drab without women. I've worked at places with almost no women and, while fun and low stress, I'd eventually miss the dynamic they bring. They are also much more pleasant to look at. Women also tend to be good at small talk so it's easy to pass the time at work with them than with men. If a woman is really attractive she's sometimes a joy to be around, even when she's boring and quiet, because it brings something out at the cellular level, like your body is simmering, primed for positive interaction of any kind.

I like women because I like to talk and to listen. I find guys normally suck at talking and girls love to talk. They're simply more enjoyable to speak with, but are often aloof or naive. I treat it like speaking with a child.

I seem women as just as valuable but not as equals. I acknowledge we are different in many ways. We are simply wired much differently and thats OK.

I think that women cannot love a man for who he is and will only conditionally love a man as long as he continues to act like a man and support her as a pseudo mix of father & brother. I believe that as long as I continue to be a man and demonstrate I am a good man she will continue to be infatuated with me. In my experience as soon as I have ever opened up or shown weakness to a woman I have regretted it. To the point I was actively using vulnerability as a shit test for women I was dating. I learned as soon as I talked about my issues it was a giant NO and out she went :shrug:

In regards to work @ home. I am completely content taking on my share of the burdens. I think its important for two partners to communicate and find the things they are OK doing themselves, and find things that are fun to do together (dishes for instance). I don't particularly care about cleanliness though I do it because it know she does (Studies show that dirtiness is literally invisible to men - they are biologically wired to ignore messes, while the same stimulus triggers a lot of activity in womens brains).

For me, there's some difference, like

- women (women)

- girls (women I know)

- friends (female friends)

- best friends (female friends I can talk to freely)

- girls I like (in a romantic way)

- women or girls I would want to have sex with

yea its a really long list.

So yea, like women and girls are humans, I appreciate friends for who they are, and honestly I didn't even want to have sex with the girls I fell in love with at a time. I still want it today (I want sex as well today eh), but I just wanted to cuddle while watching netflix, or go to mcdonalds and talk/eat/whatever you want, or just have a hug (I feel alone lmao).

To conclude, they're just people. Just like men, or trans or non binary or anyone, you can know them, like them, love them, anything really. I wouldn't like a girl who's good at sex but a true bitch or fucking dumb.

I can like a woman, I used to have some female friends, but pick random woman from a crowd and I probably won't get good connection with her. So no, I don't like women as a collective. That's not a coincidence that prepubescent boys on average stick with other boys, not girls.

Do I see women as equals? No. Men and women are different. We will never be equal. We can treat each other with respect though.

Do I think we can connect intellectually? Yes.

Do I think an intellectual connection is the basis for a relationship? No. It can be (arguably should be) an important part. But I do not think that an intellectual connection is necessary, nor do I think it is sufficient. Perhaps my definition of an intellectual connection is far more involved than what you envisioned though. I view an intellectual connection is one in which we can spar on several topics of conversation, including philosophical and religious topics. I don’t think that level of matched-wits is necessary. I do think partners should be able to talk about more than pop culture or superficial news, but I don’t think you need to be too intellectual. Certainly I don’t think an intellectual connection supersedes a physical one.

Do I expect to do half of the domestic chores? No. I’ll do the chores that I enjoy and am good/better at. That may be half, it may be more than half, it may be less than half. However, if it ends up consistently being more than half, I am fairly certain that I will outsource some tasks to hired help. If she has more leisure time than me, and still does fewer chores, I suspect my attraction and level of respect for her will fade. I’m a grown adult who can take care of a household for one. She should be capable of doing the same.

Absolutely I like women more for sex, they're very different in a peculiar way. Just seem happier and are intellectual while still being a bit more social on average than the average intellectual man. Granted I'm in a relatively good college and program so the women on average are going to be smarter. I'd love to really get to one my own age but I just cant seem to make that happen. Not that I'm trying to force realationship/friendship I just havent met any women that are necessarily that interested in myself that much🤷‍♂️. Has to be mutual interest there.

In reference to your questions, I most certainly see them as equals in the human sense of the word. Sure there are women I'm dumber than, stronger than etc but beyond that level of nuance I would wholehearted view women are equals. Sure there are some women i dont like per se but I still respect them as i would anyone else.

I would say it's possible to connect intellectually between genders but I would most certainly not be the expert in answering that question since I lack the success to make any determination on the topic. I dont feel it can be the centre point of a relationship, intelligence (unless that's your kink which in that case more power to you) cant replace actual attraction. Maybe for a friend that could work? Beats me, wish I had more to offer you here😅.

I expect both of us will do as much housework as we can reasonably do. Not really placing the idea of "women have to cook/clean/wash clothes etc" on any chores. Like of you come at 6 and I come at 5 I'll do a good bit of the work but I expect some level of contribution. Just really what makes the household run, not much deeper than that lol. Like it's not 50/50 as much as it's full effort from each person. Whether that means one person does more than the other makes little difference provided both of us are trying.

Are you just talking about women for dating? What about our moms and sisters. It is because of my mom that I have my financial success, no women I ever meet will likely mean more to me than my mom. As for sister I don’t have one, but if I had one I would love her with all my heart and even give her money for down payment on her house.
